Announcing our new line of Free-moN Module Kits to be available in January 2026. RMTS will be offering complete Free-moN kits including track, roadbed, wiring, all wood work and legs.

We designed these modules with the goal of making the process of building a module and participating in shows as accessible as possible - our design philosophy stems from the idea that anyone should be able to assemble one of our kits in their home, with minimal basic tools and no special skills required. Our hope is that by lowering the barriers to entry, we'll be able to get more people involved in shows and club operations - we believe that model train shows (and easier access to participation in shows) are essential to the growth and overall life of the hobby.

We aren't just designing these as starter kits for new modelers. One of our primary design goals was to give experienced modelers a consistent, top-quality module to remove as many show day headaches as possible. Features like our CNC routed end-plates and spine coupled with 3D-printed, height-adjustable leg pockets ensure that your modules will always be perfectly in spec. This should translate on being easier to setup and mate with other modules. We're hoping to remove the tedium and headaches from module building. This will allow the builder to focus on bringing their ideas to life rather than fighting with their modules on show day during setup.
