You
see a city, where the streets are bustling with townspeople going
to work or stopping in local businesses.
Older
vehicles cruise down the main drag and honk at their neighbor
passing by, while a train chugs along the track. What would a
city be without sound?
The new Just Plug® Sound System brings any scene on your layout,
diorama or project to life. It works well with more than model
railroad layouts. The Just Plug® Sound System also makes dioramas,
holiday displays, school projects and tabletop games a realistic,
immersive sound experience.
This complete system is easy to install. Just like the Just Plug®
Lighting System you simply plug and play!
It all starts with the Sound Hub, which is the backbone of the
system. Simply connect the Power Supply to the Sound Hub and
then insert a Sound Card. We will provide a dozen background and
active sounds, as well as the tools to create your own
unique sounds. Then plug in the speakers and you are ready for
their project to have sound!
One Sound Hub can control up to 4 individual sounds. You can run
multiple Sound Hubs off of one Power Supply by connecting
them together. The Sound Hub also has a cover to keep it clean
from dust and push buttons
and volume controls for each, individual sound.
There are also three different types of speakers. Depending on
placement and the type of sound, Micro and Mini Speakers
are available. Modelers can also create a special sound effects,
such as an airplane flying overhead moving from one
side to another using Stereo Room Speakers.
Five kinds of triggers control when sounds activate. There are
Motion Sensor, Push Button and Timer Triggers, as well as a
Magnetic Track Trigger (great for train crossings) and even a
Remote Control that allows modelers to
activate a few or all of the sounds.
To create a more realistic experience, you can start with subtle
background sounds like birds or the chatter of a citys downtown.
then add more active sounds like a fire truck or church bells.
You can start with subtle background sounds like birds or
water from a babbling brook.
Then,
you can create an active sound like a fire truck with a magnetic
track trigger and a micro speaker or
church bells with a push button trigger and mini speaker. There
are endless ways to customize sound on a layout.
Each Sound Card has its own trigger and speaker port on the Sound
Hub.
You can activate a few or all of the sounds with a Remote Control.
With additional tools and accessories that work easily and seamlessly
together,
the Sound System truly has it all to bring your layout to life.
