These
Denver & Rio Grande Western drop bottom gondolas have
been employed in a Maintenance of Way capacity, hauling tunnel
forms. Tunnel forms allow cement tunnel walls to be cast in-situ,
allowing for a safe, finished tunnel, with fewer production
steps and higher overall production speed.
