This 
                    Chicago & North Western 65' mill gondola with ASF Ride 
                    Control trucks was designed to haul finished
                    structural steel shapes and other bulky loads, and featured 
                    drop ends that allowed the gondola to carry loads
                    longer than the car. This particular car is loaded with a 
                    large spruce tree that was cut down in Nemo, South
                    Dakota, to become the 1970 National Christmas Tree. It traveled 
                    by rail and survived at least two derailments
