The prospect of receiving coal in your stocking for the Holidays has long been a Holiday season tradition. Now in 2001, Micro-Trains® has come to Santa’s aid with these two coal-hauling holiday cars. The N scale 100-ton 3-bay open hopper with rib sides, and the Z scale 50’ gondola with fishbelly sides and drop ends are the 11th Annual Micro-Trains® Holiday Cars. They are painted black and decorated in the festive colors of the Holidays. Although the coal is normally reserved for those who are naughty; those who are nice can enjoy this delivery as well. The design was developed from the ideas of our 2001 Employee Holiday Car
