100 ton three bay covered hopper with elongated hatches is painted
brown and bears the white BNSF logo and white lettering. It
runs nationally on Barber Roller bearing trucks. Built in September
1971 as part of a combinedorder from the Burlington Northern Railroad and CB&Q subsidiary
Colorado & Southern Railway, this car represents the sole
merger-acquired high-capacity grain hoppers representing Gunderson.
Cars in these series were assigned
different car number series by BNSF due to the slightly different
                  load volume capacities.
