This 50’ gondola
with fishbelly sides, drop ends and crushed stone load is painted
black with silver herald and lettering. It was
built in May 1949 by Bethlehem Steel Car and runs on Barber Roller
Bearing trucks. This was the first car to be delivered in
the Zephyr-inspired silver lettering and included steel floors. |
