This 50’ standard box car with plug door has MILW maroon sides with yellow band, aluminum roof and black ends. The large Milwaukee Road herald letters and slant logo are MILW maroon and yellow and it runs on black roller bearing trucks and red couplers. MILW 2635 is classed as “RBL” and is part of the 2600-2654 fifty car series. This series has specially equipped interiors and is not suitable for general service. Over twenty years later, 20 cars from this series were still operating with MILW reporting marks in the same paint scheme.
