| This 50’ rib side box car with
single door and no roofwalk is pink with black lettering and runs on Barber Roller
Bearing trucks. Officially sanctioned by Railbox parent company TTX, an old and
worn 50’ boxcar was painted bright pink in support of Breast Cancer Awareness
in 2017. At the unveiling ceremony on October 21st, TTX invited survivors to meet
at the railcar and leave their handprints in paint on the sides of the car. This
car continues to roll the rails in national boxcar pool service across the United
States.
Micro-Trains
will donate 10% of the proceeds of every car sold to the breast cancer fund of
the American Cancer Society.
