Prototype Information:
The Tokyu 5000 Series debuted in 2002 as the next-generation standard
commuter train for Tokyu Corporation, entering
service on the Den-en-toshi Line. Known for its red corporate stripe
and distinctive green line-color band above the windows,
it operates across three prefectures, running through the Tokyo Metro
Hanzomon Line, the Tobu Skytree Line, and as far as
Kuki on the Tobu Isesaki Line and Minami-Kurihashi on the Tobu Nikko
Line!
?The Den-en-toshi Line 5000 Series makes a long-awaited return! This
release features a later production group with
integrated side displays and high-back seat cars (Cars 4, 5, and 8)
replacing former 6-door cars. A perfect match with popular
sets like the <10-1760/1761 Tokyo Metro Hanzomon Line 18000 Series>
and <10-1597/1598 Tobu Railway Skytree Line 50050
Series>, due to its familiar and versatile presence across Tokyo!
