Prototype Information:

The power unit for the 289 Series Add-on Set enables the extension formations of the 289 Series
“Konotori / Kinosaki” (scheduled for release in June) as well as the “Kuroshio” to operate under their own power. In addition to standalone operation of a 3-car extension set, this unit is also recommended for recreating train formations using two extension sets coupled together.

Model Features:

• Enables the recreation of operations using a single 3-car 289 Series formation, as well as trains
operated with two coupled 3-car formations.
• Compatible not only with the 289 Series, but also with the 683 Series 2000 subseries (Seat colors may differ depending on the product.)
