Prototype Information:
The iconic Odakyu Romancecar NSE (Series 3100) returns! Introduced
in 1963 with its signature raised drivers cab and front observation
lounge, the NSE combined luxury and innovation. Later upgrades added
powerful A/C units, a new and automatic roll-type front destination
display (changed from pentagonal to rectangular), expanded café
space, updated gangway bellows and modernized details throughout. In
1997, one set was transformed into the event train Yume 70, celebrating
Odakyus 70th anniversary. The train featured a colorful livery
and sofa seating throughout the lead car (except for the observation
area), making it a fan favorite.
The beloved Odakyu Romancecar NSE (Series 3100) now returns with an
updated lineup. This release reproduces the refurbished version with
the rectangular automatic front display and also includes the eye-catching
Yume 70 event train from 1997.
