Information:
The iconic JR West KiHa 181 Series, a diesel express connecting
the Kansai and Sanin regions of Japan, returns in detailed KATO
form! A key link in Western Japans express heritage, these models
capture the classic JNR express colors with JR logos and reproduce the
post-privatization appearance seen on trains like the Hakuto, Inaba,
Asashio, Hamakaze, Oki, and Kunibiki.
Combine multiple sets to recreate authentic early-2000s formations,
and pair with the 381 Series Yakumo EMUs for full express operations
across electrified and non-electrified lines.
