Information:
Following the Class 800 operated by GWR and LNER, we are pleased
to announce a new addition to KATO’s British high-speed train line-up:
the TransPennine Express Class 802/2-type model!
The Hitachi Class 802 is a further development of the Class 800, featuring
increased diesel engine output and enlarged fuel tanks, enabling operation
over longer distances on non-electrified lines.
The Class 802 units operated by TPE (TransPennine Express), also known
as the “Nova 1” fleet, connect major cities such as Liverpool,
Manchester, and Edinburgh, and are distinguished by their metallic livery.
Please note: This model uses tooling from the Class 800, so some details
may differ from the actual train.
