Prototype
Information:
The E657 series debuted in 2011 as an AC/DC limited express EMU
for the Joban Line and continues to serve as the line’s primary
limited express train today. This E657 Series K3 formation features
the striking orange livery inspired by the classic E653 “Fresh
Hitachi.” A total of five color variations were applied to the
real trains.
Released as the fifth and final entry in the Revival Color lineup, it’s
a must-have for collectors and modern Joban Line modelers alike. It
also pairs perfectly with other JR East rolling stock, allowing realistic
recreations of contemporary regional operations.
