Prototype
Information:
The Aoimori 703 series is the successor to
the Aoimori 701 series and was designed and manufactured based on JR
Easts E721 series. Like the E721 series, it features a low-floor,
barrier-free body structure using small-diameter wheels and an interior
layout based on box seats.
The trains body design is primarily painted in the corporate light
blue of Aoimori Railway, and the
character Molly, the companys image mascot, is displayed
next to the passenger doors. Unlike the Aoimori 701 series, a pink version
of Molly is also included in the design.
