Prototype Information:

The Abukuma Express is a train line connecting Tsukinoki and Fukushima separate from the Tohoku Main Line. The AB900 series is a new train based on JR East’s E721 series, and was introduced to replace the 8100 series, which were in operation since the line’s electrification. There are currently 7 units of the AB900 Series in operation, and is planned to eventually expand to a total of 10 units. Every unit of the AB900 series has different colorings, and this time we are announcing the 3rd unit, which features a bright yellow coloring.

Model Features:

• Reproduces the striking “A” design of Abukuma, boldly painted across multiple cars along the sides of the train.
• Interior coloring: AB900 in brown, AB901 in blue
• The Abukuma Express logo on the front, the Cycle Train mark on the sides, and the one-man operation display beside the passenger doors are all reproduced by printed detailing
• “Fukushima” front destination display; interchangeable “Tsukinoki” and blank destination signs are included
• Destination display sticker sheet included
