The 683 Series 4000 “Thunderbird” represents the refinement of Japan’s high-speed limited express design — a sleek evolution of JR West’s 681 and 683 Series EMUs operating between Osaka and Kanazawa, one of the country’s most iconic intercity routes.

This refined 9-car EMU blends speed, safety, and style — featuring sleek through-gangway cab ends, single-arm pantographs, and a luxurious black-and-blue JR West livery.

Available as both a 9-car set and a complete starter set with track and Power Pack, it’s perfect for recreating the iconic “Thunderbird” or combining with the 681 and 683 Series for full 12-car operation.
