One of Japan’s most iconic commuter trains, the JNR 103 Series was built in over 3,400 cars and operated nationwide for decades. Familiar not only to railway enthusiasts but also to the general public, the 103 Series remains one of Japan’s most iconic commuter trains.

This renewed set features LED lighting and added front car variations, offered in classic Sky Blue and Uguisu (Light Green) liveries. The Sky Blue version includes the distinctive low-cab front car used on Keihanshin local services—perfect for recreating classic urban rail scenes in N scale.
