This 60’ 8" Thrall® Centerbeam flat car is painted frost gray with red and black logo and black lettering. It was built in June 1987 by the Thrall® Manufacturing Co. of Chicago Heights, Illinois and runs today on Barber® roller bearing trucks. TCAX 700038 is equipped with a Centerbeam, winch-type tiedown system which minimizes shift load, decreases labor costs, and increases load capacity. Typically this car carries wallboard (gypsum drywall).
