This bright blue 40’ double sheathed wood reefer with black roof and ends was built in the mid 1920s. It runs on black Bettendorf trucks and displays the Milwaukee herald in white. MILW 79031 was reweighed and repainted bright blue and black in January of 1964. Series 79000-79069 was numbered with revenue numbers, although used in non-revenue ice service.
