| Sorry the picture is so dark, I couldn't get the sun to cooperate. Coors is located in the background. The two SD40-2's are pulling the Beer Train from the outbound yard. The train was sitting on three tracks and they had to build it up. Here they are pulling the second piece. This shot was taken about a ¼ mile west of the Colorado Railroad Museum.

| Next we followed the Golden Branch back towards Denver in search of the SD-9 Golden Switcher. We finally caught up with it just south of downtown Arvada. It had already been to the far east end of the branch and was heading back to Golden. At the east end of the branch they roll the train by the engine. They then place the engine on the west end (backwards) to drag the train back to Golden.

| About this time the Switcher crew radio'd to the Beer Run to find out where they were. The Beer Run had assembled their train and were waiting in Golden to schedule a meet with the Switcher. As they usually do they met at Terrill Jct. Here the Golden Switcher is pulling its cut of cars into the Coors west plant lead at Terrill Jct. The BNSF Golden Branch is seen heading off to the left (west). The Switcher will just clear the Branch and wait for the Beer Run to pass.

| The Beer Run now has the Branch all to itself and can get their car-loads of beer headed to the consumers. It will head back to the BNSF yard in Denver where the cars will be distributed. 62' Insulated Box Cars can head in just about any direction. The tankers of concentrated Beer will head to Tennessee, Virginia and North Carolina (I could be wrong on this last one).

| One of the crew of the Golden Switcher is lounging waiting for the Beer Run to pass. He will then throw the switch so that his train can back out onto the Branch and continue on its trip to Golden.

| This car was fairly clean/new looking. As of today, 09/18/00, this car had made it to its destination in Memphis, TN.
| Finally, the Golden Switcher pushes its train back onto the Branch and heads West to Golden to finish its day.
