WMike Danneman and I were able to catch the local that runs from Denver North Yard to the Rocky Flats siding today. Three Rio Grande GP40-2's were pulling a fairly short string of hoppers. GP40-2 #3105 was leading #3100 and #3097.

The train pulls into the Rocky siding near the Big Ten curves and then backs up the Rocky Flats branch. Here it is crossing Highway 93 backwards.

The train is now backing across Colorado 72. To keep from having to walk the train a couple of times they just ride on the back all the way from Rocky siding to the setout.
