Merchant
Street Bridge Kit
The Prototype: The Merchant Street Bridge is based on bridges
built in the 1920's and 30's of which many are still in use today.
These bridges were made of reinforced concrete with a double track
mainline traveling overhead. Many of these bridges were built to eliminate
grade crossings and promote safer passage for automobiles and pedestrians
in urban areas. Some of these bridges where in a simpler style, ours
happens to be in a more ornate style. After all, its going down Merchant
Street.
The Kit: The
kit is made of a type of strong white hydrocal. It includes four
wing walls, 3 piers, and a two part deck split down the center.
It is a double track bridge. It also includes laser cut material
for the side walks and printed roadway signs for the underpass.
Complete "photo" instructions are included to make assembly
and painting easy and fun!
This will make
a 59 scale foot single track bridge.

House Kit
You remember Ellie's House. Not far from the tracks and across
the street from the depot. As a kid you saw her sitting on the front
step or looking out the bay window whenever a train would arrive in
town.
The kit is
based on a Victorian era Gothic House of the late 1800's. It is
made of precision laser cut bass wood, and fiber board materials.
It includes cast metal chimneys, peel and stick windows and trim,
plus laser cut window glazing. The roof is etched with simulated
cedar shake shingles so no assembly of tiny shingles is required.
Now all you need to do is choose Ellie's paint scheme and use wood
glue for assembly.

Speeder
Shed Kit
The model is based on a typical speeder shed or tool house found
on most
railroads but elevated with a trestle underneath for construction
on a
slope. It can also be assembled on a flat section of land. The typical
Speeder Shed is where the railroad stored maintenance parts, extra
signs,
tools, hand cars, velocipedes, and in later years, motorized speeders.
The
shed was positioned on a section of track where a crew could be called
out
to inspect and do small repairs to the track within its section.
The kit includes
laser cut bass wood, micro plywood, and fiber board parts. Also
included are peel and stick trim and door, and roofing parts plus
printed
signs, and laser cut details. Assembly is made easy by tab-and-slot
