is for all our traction and trolley fans. Here is great film from
the 30's and 40's, and some from the 50's and 60's. The Frog has
created an entertaining and informative video of how it used to
be when traction and trolleys were an integral part of our economy.
We’ll
visit the North Shore Railroad (including some spectacular Winter
scenes), the South Shore, Seattle Trolleys of the 30’s and
40's, Yakima Valley operations, and in the 1930's, the Third Avenue
Trolleys, the New York Westchester & Boston, Public Service
Transport of New Jersey and the Lehigh Valley Transit (Some of
the LV of the 30's in color!).
The majority
of the original film was shot on 16 mm COLOR film, the Eastern
film from the 30’s was shot on 8mm black & white, and
some color...very rare!
