Back down at Coal Creek we found the DVRO heading into Tunnel 1. The train had eight engines running on the front. Led by SD40-2 #3732. It took two pictures from where I was standing to get all eight units.

At mile post 23 (between the Colorado 72 bridge and tunnel 1) a sun kink developed. We heard that a 10mph slow order was in force.

The CNW led coal train crossing the sun kink. Union Pacific #7058 C60AC is second.

We chased CNW 8802 towards Leyden. Here the train is running east parallel to Colorado Highway 72.
