Class J 4-8-4

This is a very heavy Engine it weights in at 6.3oz. The engine shell is cast metal.
The third driver axle has traction tires on both sides. This should be an incredible puller.

The Class J 4-8-4 was the last mainline steam locomotive to run in the United States. The popularity of their HO version of this model inspired Bachmann to offer this newly tooled locomotive to N scale modelers.

Features include:

• DCC ready
• Die-cast boiler, underframe, and tender frame
• Separately applied detail parts and laser-cut exterior detailing
• Die-cast finescale driver spokes
• Dummy knuckle couplers, front and rear
This locomotive performs best on curves with a minimum radius of 19" or larger.

This unit has lights on both ends.
