The Athearn F59PHI features very crisp printing and shell details

The gear towers are very similar to those of a brass engine. Performance is very smooth, with an excellent speed range. Noise level is not bad but somewhat louder than other manufacturers recent releases.

To remove the shell the front and rear pilots snap off the shell and then the mechanism will drop out

Packaged in a foam lined clear jewel box with a cardboard outer sleeve
